Committees
Awards
This committee reviews Circle of Excellence (COE) rules and examines all COE applications to qualify them for approval by the Board of Directors. Additionally, the Board's Annual Awards are reviewed each year and amended as needed. (Meets January - March)
Community Service
This committee plans, organizes and produces events and/or projects that benefit our surrounding community, including the annual Auction, which benefits children of all three counties. (Meets as needed)
Education
This committee plans, organizes and promotes all educational seminars. (Meets quarterly)
Grievance
This committee reviews and investigates complaints against members as well as arbitration requests filed with the Board. When appropriate, it refers them to the Professional Standards committee for a hearing. You must have at least three years of REALTOR® membership in order to serve on the Grievance Committee.
Member Services
This committee promotes Board membership among qualified brokers and affiliated businesses. It reviews, plans and recommends member benefit programs and services for the enrichment of our membership. (Meets every other month)
Professional Standards
This committee encourages strict adherence to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics by all members. It conducts hearings on alleged violations of the Code of Ethics, commission disputes, and other matters referred by the Grievance Committee and/or the Board of Directors. You must have at least five years of REALTOR® membership to serve on the Professional Standards Committee.
Public Relations
This committee works to promote the REALTOR® image within our community. It will create and distribute press releases to local media and other organizations as needed and possibly plan, organize and promote events to surround this campaign.
Trade Show
This committee produces our Annual Trade Show. Proceeds from the trade show benefit local charities.
