Local Awards

The 400 North Board of REALTORS® is fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers donating their time, energy and talent to make the association a successful organization. Each year, the Board takes the opportunity to recognize a few of these individuals with the following awards: REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, President’s Award. In addition, a new award has been created this year to honor Jim French, the Jim French Award. These awards will be presented at the December Membership Luncheon. The Circle of Excellence Awards, Rookie of the Year, Top Producer Awards and the newly created Workhorse Award will be honored at the February Circle of Excellence Banquet.

Circle of Excellence Club: Members of the Circle of Excellence Club exemplify the highest caliber of real estate professionalism and service. The Club honors those REALTORS® with two million dollars or more in total gross residential sales.

President's Award: The President's Award is personally selected by the President of the Board and is given to the member for outstanding service and contributions to the Board going far beyond any particular assignment. The recipient is recognized for his/her dedication and sharing of time and experience with others, all of which benefit the Board and it's membership.

Nominations

Nominations for the awards listed below are appreciated. Nomination forms can be downloaded using the links to the right under "Applications". All nominations will be presented to the Awards Committee and must be in the Board office by October 15th by 5:00 pm with the exception of the Rookie of the Year.

REALTOR® of the Year Award:  Candidate must hold REALTOR® membership in a Board of REALTORS® from October 1st of the previous year to September 30th of the current year (the qualifying period) and be a member of the 400 North Board of REALTORS® at the time of nomination. Factors taken into consideration include REALTOR® spirit, civic activity, and business accomplishments.

Affiliate of the Year Award:  This award was created in 2005 to be given to the Affiliate member of the 400 North Board of REALTORS® who has made the greatest contribution of time, energy and resource to the 400 North Board of REALTORS® in the calendar year.

Jim French Award:  This award is given to the member of the 400 North Board of REALTORS® who portrays professionalism and true REALTOR® spirit. This individual should demonstrate exceptional achievement and contribution to the 400 North Board of REALTORS®. This recipient should be a diversified individual who is well rounded and displays integrity and exemplary standards to the code of ethics.

Rookie of the Year Award:  Brokers are eligible to nominate a newer REALTOR® member for this award. Criteria for REALTOR® of the year applies. Additionally, the agent must have been licensed for at least 12 months prior to December 31st.
