Thanks for Making the Auction an Outstanding Event!

On Thursday, October 13th, we held our annual auction at the beautiful Achasta Golf & Country Club. The event saw a lively crowd turn out despite the cold dreary weather to bid on items, silent and live, in the hopes of picking up a few great bargains.  Bidding wars took place on vacations such as Costa Rica, Tuscany and even South Africa.  But, in the end, it was the children supported by our wonderful charities that came away winners. Over $16,000 was raised, the largest amount in Board history, which will benefit: Angels Over Forsyth; Dawson County Family Connection; and Lumpkin County Family Connection. The Auction brought together over 160 REALTORS® and corporate industry leaders under Starry Nights, celebrating with great food, live entertainment, cash prize raffle, vendor sponsors, and the two auctions.

To all those who participated in the Auction, thank you. To our Chairman, Tara Locke, we are so grateful for your outstanding leadership! To our entire committee and staff, well done. To all our auction sponsors, our gratitude and thanks. Finally, to everyone, don't forget to support our sponsors as they support our community.
